I am a wife, mother and now grandmother, as well as a former homeschooler and caregiver. I have worked as an educator, editor and writer for books, proposals, workshops, curriculum, marketing materials, applications and coached public speaking. My goal is to help a student or a client communicate their ideas well. I also just love meeting people and hearing their stories.

As a graduate of the University of Alabama, I have worked in the areas ranging from healthcare, higher education to non-profits. Some of the organizations I have worked for include Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins, the Community College of Allegheny County, Cactus Communications and Young Lives ministry. I have written about family care in the Journal of Family Ministry and other regional publications.

I have also been in church and ministry my entire life and also worked in many areas, from children’s ministry to college and career to mission work but most recently, my focus has been working in Community Bible Study (CBS) and small group ministry in church and in my neighborhood.

My life has been one of supporting and encouraging the two most impactful institutions in society: the home and the church. My hope is that what you read will celebrate and bring new ideas to these traditions.
